Ruffle-front top

A gorgeous perfect ruffle tank; Jcrew does it again. As another reviewer stated, this shirt is gorgeous, perfect size ruffles, perfect placement, & it’s easily dressed up or down. I purchased the white color. I first wore it with a navy and white gingham mini skirt & got compliments all day and night. I next wore it work jeans for casual Friday at work and it was the most comfortable yet still dressed up enough shirt for that too. The quality is standard jcrew, cotton T-shirt type. Size is ideal as well; I’m 5’2 103 lbs petite 32b, I ordered the XXS per usual at jcrew. length was right where I needed, my arm holes are normal, not tight anywhere on me. If you thought it ran small you probably need to order a larger size because this shirt isn’t meant to be tight; see the model, it doesn’t hug any part of your body at any spot. It’s not the shirts or design fault it just could be that certain styles don’t flatter every body type.

This is a horrible awkward fit. There is nothing flattering about this shirt. I would not purchase again.

I ordered this shirt in 3 colors. I washed two together, following the directions on the tag. I placed them in the dryer to tumble dry and when I took them out, they had shrunk about 2.5 inches at the hem. The body of the shirt shrunk overall as well. I was not expecting this as I followed the care instructions as directed. I am highly disappointed with the quality of these shirts. I was also expecting the whole shirt to have a crisp cotton feel (think button down) but only the ruffles resemble this fabric. The body of the shirt is a t-shirt cotton. Comfortable, but not what was expected.

This tank is so adorable and can be such a great staple piece but sadly they missed the fit on this one!! The design and color choices are perfect but unfortunately the fit is not at all! The top has oversized arm holes which even shows some side bra which is not flattering. The fabric also tends to tapper in around the belly area and cling to your stomach making it also not too flattering unless you have washboard abs. The ruffle was perfectly sized and the best part of the tank. The tank also seems to run shorter than most. Really weird cut all around on this tank!

Runs very small and it is final sale no returns. Wish it was exchangable

I’ve bought in every color and wear at least once a week! It is that “perfect tee” when you want a little more than just a tee-shirt! It dresses up but not too much! Very flattering, comfortable and a nice stylish top!
