Old-J. Crew quality, 100% cotton, but shrinks
February 3, 2026I purchased these, and to my delight, they are the style of the old J.Crew "Dreamy" knit 100% cotton pajamas, with a wide waistband, instead of the tiny elastic waistband J. Crew now sells, which is uncomfortable and terrible, IMO. I purchased many pairs of these in my excitement. I purchased one size up so they would be loose and comfortable. However, after washing, they shrunk significantly, which the old J. Crew pajamas did not do. They are cut much shorter than the old J.Crew Dreamy pajamas. I am 5'11" and these bottoms barely come down mid-calf on me now, and the arms are about 4" too short. If you are 5'6" or shorter, these pajamas, after washing, should fit you properly. Just size up. The fabric itself is still soft and breatheable 100% cotton, so I am keeping and wearing them anyway :)
