Popover Tunic top
May 9, 2020Initially I thought, "this is big and boxy". It was very low cut, so I thought I would have to wear an undershirt. However, I wore it and despite the deep cut, the fabric stayed close together and you did not see my cleavage. The boxiness wore down and I appreciated the way it laid. I wear it with black leggings and patent leather flats. It is now one of my favorite outfits. Well done J. Crew.

Description was wrong
April 26, 2020The stripes are not black and white as described. The "black" is definitely navy which is disappointing. It also runs really big. I got a large so it would be loose fitting and possibly work as a maternity shirt later. It fits, but looks kind of silly with all the extra fabric. It's also tunic length on me, but could be due to my height. Will probably exchange for a medium and will still have room for a bump. Overall a good casual shirt

A little too baggy...
April 14, 2020I was excited to try something new, but unfortunately this didn't work for me. I usually wear between a medium and a large in J.Crew tops. This was just really baggy. It was kind of baggy overall. It especially didn't fit me in the shoulders so it kind of just looked like a sack. I'm kind of curvy these days and have a 34DD chest, but I don't think that was the problem. Sizing down might help, but I was afraid it might not fit through the hips. I wasn't impressed enough with the quality (it was just so so and looks kind of cheap) to try and return and then re-order it, so unfortunately it's just going back. I think this would probably work best on straighter figures.

good top; has to be ironed
November 8, 2019The tunic is nice fit and length. However, I wish it were permanent press as I try not to buy things that need ironing.
