The Perfect Flannel Shirt
January 3, 2022I love J. Crew's Blackwatch Plaid pattern so I was drawn to this shirt from the get-go. It's loose-fitting and comfortable, but slightly tailored so it has a more feminine fit. The material was much lighter than I was expecting, which was at first disappointing because I wanted something more substantial, but after wearing it all day in my ice box of an office I realized that it's actually very warm despite the lightness of the fabric - a win-win in my book! It's also very soft which is a must for someone like me with easily irritated skin. I wore this with no camisole underneath and was comfortable all day.

Odd fit in the sleeves
December 18, 2021The fit on this is off for me - sleeves not quite wrist length, and extra fabric around the shoulder opening that creates an odd poof in the shoulders/sleeves in the back. It's a pity as the flannel is quite soft and shirt is otherwise well made. I kept it because I did not want to pay the rather exorbitant return shipping fee (why does return shipping cost more than the shipping to receive the product?).

Favorite fall shirt
November 19, 2021Picked this up in the Blackwatch Plaid and absolutely love it! It's soft and the tailored fit is great -- my only issue is it is just a touch small through the bust. Not so small that I feel like I need to size up, but I'm jussssst pushing the bounds if you know what I mean. But I absolutely love this shirt and it has been my go-to the entire Fall...it's a winner.

Blackwatch plaid flannel shirt
November 16, 2021Blackwatch is my absolute favorite plaid! I had to have this flannel! I love the light weight and super soft fabric. This is my fifth light weight flannel (two from last year) and I just bought three more. Very little shrinkage when washed in cold and dried on low. My most comfortable shirt, I got an XL for a roomier fit. Perfect for fall or layered for winter! Blackwatch plaid is a must have! Wearing mine right now!
