Ruffle shirt

The arms are weirdly large but only in the upper portion of the shirt....very odd cut.

I am very happy with this purchase. Truly a staple piece.

I was really disappointed when I got this because the reviews were so good. I usually wear size 2 or S in Jcrew, so I ordered S. But the sleeves are too snuggly and it's designed to look fitted but it runs big, so it's really awkward and not flattering. I can only wear this with the sleeves rolled up, or something else with it like a cardigan/jacket to hide this. There's no way I wear it alone. I don't know if it would've been better if I ordered one size down. (I'm 121 lb, 5.5") Another problem is that the fabric is quite stiff and the ruffles are kind of blunt, instead of feminine and delicate. It's too complicated to return and it costs me shipping, so I'm stuck with this.

Like the stretch material of this shirt, bought similar style from jcrew store but it is 100% cotton. The fact it is stretchy it wears better and does not wrinkle however I had to send to dry cleaners because it didn't iron easily after I washed it. I love this style shirt because you can wear with jeans or dress up as well.

Okay, I'm not really sure where all of these great reviews are coming from. Yes, the shirt is incredibly cute and true to size. However, the white shirt is beyond sheer. Like my boyfriend could clearly see what was printed on the tag for the tank top I had on UNDERNEATH the shirt. Unless you're planning on only ever wearing this with a blazer, it's not office appropriate at all. Not sure about the black but the white is too sheer.

I love the cotton material. It's just right, not too thin or thick.
