Ruffle-sleeve top

I had such high hopes for this top. I liked the pattern and the sleeves online, however when it came in the mail the first thing I noticed was that it was NOT at all soft, but stiff . After trying it on, I was so disappointed , not only is it stiff, it is boxy, very short and the sleeves are way to big and stuck out in a odd way. I did not like this top at all. It made me look HUGE , very broad in the shoulders and boxy in the middle. Plus it was so short when I raised my arms it rode up and showed my stomach. NOT cute at all!! I wish I could return it but it was a finally sale. Ugh.

This top is very cute, seems well-made and true to size, but the ruffles are just overwhelming. I'm 5'5", 119 and the 0 fit great, but sadly, the ruffles made me look like I had wings! Just way too much fabric. I definitely recommend trying this on in a store before you buy if you can.

PROS: *I loved this floral stripe print *The fit was true to size *No stretch in the fabric but the sizing and fit accomodated (I am a 6/8 and I bought in a 6 and it fit well) I ended up returning this top because the ruffles on the arms were SO BIG. I felt like they overwhelmed me and looked a bit ridiculous. If you are REALLY into ruffles, this top may be for you! Everything else about it was adorable. FYI, the background color is BLACK, and there are lots of other accent colors in the flowers.
