Puff-sleeve top

I purchase most of my clothes from J Crew & factory for the quality, however, this shirt is a glaring exception. It is at least 3 sizes too big on me. It looks like a smock, even tucked in it looks so sloppy. I will either need to pay more than the price of the shirt to tailor it or just donate it brand new. Even the neckline and arms are way too big, so it’s not just a boxy style. Nearly all of my clothes are a size small and I do not wear anything skin tight, this looks like an XL. Also the material is thinner than I expected and the gold is more coppery than gold. I will never wear this shirt unless I get it tailored, which I’m not even sure is possible because of the amount of work that would need to be done and how it could affect the pattern.

I have worn this to several holiday events (with black velvet jeans) and I always get compliments on this shirt! Perfect balance of festive yet not specifically xmas...will also double as a NYE shirt. Great purchase.
