Printed sleeveless flounce top

Bought this in the dots - took the advice of other reviewers and sized down. I am normally a 2 in J. Crew tops (sometimes a 4 in button-downs), and I got a 0 - it fits my bust comfortably and is sort of "swingy" in the waist, the way I like a peplum top to fit. It is a sheer material, but I think it looks cute with a dark bra intentionally showing through (for weekends or going out), or, for the workplace, I wear a light cami underneath and a cropped sweater over it.

Shirt is very boxy and really wide. Wouldn't even wear it under a cardigan.

I ordered two of these tops - one in the polka dots and the other in the geometric print. The prints are gorgeous and the fabric is good quality (the ivory is thick enough not to be see through). But I had to size down and even after sizing down the top was still a little too wide. Even though it's a peplum still, because it doesn't have a zipper it sits loosely around the waist. I'm still considering adding some gathering in the back to help this.

Sad to say boxy and unflattering. Waiting for my refund.

The style of the shirt is adorable.......Unfortunately, the material is too thin. A tank top is absolutely necessary in order to wear this shirt which completely ruins the style. The shirt is also "boxy" and not flattering at all.

I bought this in my normal size 4 and my daughter bought the same top (in a different color) and both sizes are too large and very wide. It is not very flattering. I loved the style on the model. I just wish it was more slender of a style. We'll be returning both tops.
