Mini skirt in double-serge wool

I love this skirt - in fact the gold buttons are what make this skirt stand out to me! As a curvy girl I appreciate this A-line skirt. It runs small - I went up to a 6 from my usual 4. I probably could have squeezed into a 4 if my tummy was super flat, but i went up to a 6 to accomodate for that. The pleats would NOT lay flat no matter how much I ironed them so I will have to take the skirt to a tailor to have them stitch it down from the inside. I hope you get more sizes/colors in stock!!!

As a pear shaped lady, I wanted to love this skirt (please, please, please stock more flared items JCrew!) but for the life of me, I could not get the pleats to lay flat. Sizing up wouldn't have worked with the waist, so this was sadly a return.

I have been searching for a skirt that wasn't a pencil skirt that I could wear in the fall/winter and this is it! I have a pear-shaped body and a pencil skirt just won't work for me at all. This design, although I went up a size to accommodate my hips, is absolutely perfect~!!! I LOVE the buttons because they elevate the style to a military look but they are easily exchanged for solid blue buttons if you would like. I purchased both colors and would literally scream out loud if J Crew would do this in red for the holidays! Plaid would be great too! Please, oh please! xoxo

I would have purchased this skirt if it didn't have those hideous gold buttons on it. For once JCrew offered a mini that wasn't too short and it has to have those ridiculous buttons.
