Tweed pencil skirt

Really great tweed skirt. But the picture does not depict the color well. It is a tan background but what appear to be the pinkish orange fuzzy parts are very very bright, like fluorescent bright. I was a little taken aback when I opened the package. But then put it on with a navy twinset and it looked great and the bright color grew on me. It's a great skirt. Just know the pink is very very bright in person. :)

I usually wear neutral colors but when I do my fiber artwork, I use bold, fun colors. This year, I decided to actually wear the colors I love! So I ordered this skirt. It is bright and it's a LOT of fun! Initially, I was tempted to return it; the little eyelashes are really bright. But I didn't return it. I wore it to work with a darker neutral long sleeved t-shirt, a denim jacket and tights, all from J. Crew Factory. The neutrals toned it down just enough but the skirt itself livened up my day! Clients and staff complimented me; they loved it too. As with everything else I have purchased from J.Crew and Factory, it was exceptionally well made.
