Pencil skirt in rainbow tweed

This skirt is even cuter in person-- feels like great quality and the colors are vibrant but not obnoxious. Unfortunately just too big and had to give to a friend. For reference I'm 5'6" 125 lbs and got a 4.

Looks exactly as I expected, and will match so many different tops. Hook clasp broke off the very first time my daughter tried it on.

I bought this skirt and the matching jacket on a whim because I usually don't go for such a classic suit look. I go for a look that is a little eclectic, but south of outrageous. I LOVE this look with the boxy jacket and the pencil skirt, mostly because of the compliments I have received when wearing it. I did buy one size up out of sheer speculation and not because of any reviews. I was amazed when it fit like it was tailor made for me. So, in a nutshell, it may be prudent to order a size up for comfort. (I don't like to wear anything that is snug, simply out of a fear of pinch when sitting for long periods time) The fabric and cut are quality and look like they will go the distance so I hope to be wearing this classic suit for a long time.

The tweed is the worst I've ever seen. It is so rough and stiff and looks like a knitted mat... This was the first time I got so disappointed by jcrew's products. I threw it away just after I tried it on upon receipt. This is not even a wearable skirt.

I loved the way this skirt fits and it goes very well with the blazer.
