Striped Caryn cardigan sweater

I purchased the navy/kelly, navy/cream, and pink striped sweaters. The colors are vibrant, but not too vibrant. I've owned two of them for over six months now and have noticed no pilling. That's a huge plus! The material is thin, but perfect for almost any season in the south. They can be worn casually with jeans or shorts and dressed up with dress pants and even worn over a dress. They fit true to size, if not a little big.

I went by a previous reviewer's advice, thinking it ran a little big but compared to my other J.Crew purchases, I would say this cardigan runs small. I can fit into the XS, but an S would certainly be a more comfortable fit for me. For your reference, I always wear a J.Crew size 2 dress, and sleeveless blouses I take a 0. That said, the sleeves are plenty long, and the quality is very nice. I have the gray and cream, and I can't wear it over a blouse (too small) but I do wear it over a tank top.

I wore w/dark navy trousers and the entire outfit popped w/this cardigan. I own several solid colored Caryn cardigans and hesitated choosing this one - as I'm a busty gal and thought the stripes would accentuate my assets. Not to worry my Rubenesque chicas.

Sweater is super comfy and runs true to size (I'm a 34C and bought an X-Small, same in the matching shell). I think the length for the sweater and arms fits pretty true to size, material is good quality - similar to the other Caryn cardigans I've bought this year. One thing to note - the sweater is navy and shamrock Kelly green stripes. It does not look like a teal green and navy stripe as shown on the website. If you are looking for that type of color, do not order this sweater because that is not it.

One of my favorites.....will definitely be a part of my spring wardrobe, as well!! Looks great under my blue/green paid blazer for now!!

I own several Caryn cardigan sweaters and this one with navy stripes is almost 2 inches shorter than my other Caryn sweaters. Can't return so will donate to Goodwill.
