Linen-cotton beach sweater

I ordered this sweater in the white, maroon, and baby blue and they are very cute! However, I've only gotten the opportunity to wear the white and maroon twice because when I put it in the wash (followed all of the wash instructions) it shrunk down to a baby sized sweater. I would reconsider purchasing just because I love the style, however I don't want to waste money on something that would shrink on me again.

I purchased two of these sweaters, and though they were a bit short and boxy, I still liked them. When washed according to the instructions on the label, however, both shrunk in length and look ridiculous and unflattering on me. I am 5'2" and short-waisted, but the sweaters are now too short for me and unwearable - which is frustrating! Though I have had great experiences with J. Crew Factory clothing, I do not recommend this sweater.

This sweater is thick enough not to see through my inner wear, which might be really good for early fall and spring. The color is vivid and nice for my asian complexion. I love this!

I have this sweater in the sand and the light blue colors. It is a bit boxy but looks great layered over a longer boyfriend shirt. The material is lightweight but substantial, perfect if the AC is blasting. I ordered my usual M, and it is quite loose-fitting but it's meant to be worn that way. Love this.

I was surprised when I received this sweater to see how boxy the fit was - it almost seems stretched out. The neck is really wide - when I first put it on I thought "wait, was this a boatneck?" before realizing that no, it was just a really wide neck hole. Also really boxy at the bottom, so not a flattering fit. The color is pretty and it's fine to just throw on over something, but it's not going to be winning any style points. It was inexpensive and I haven't decided if I want to hassle with returning it yet, but I definitely would have passed it over in the store.

This is the perfect summer sweater. It is cotton and linen, so it breathes and the small side slit on the ribbing is a nice touch. The orange is not too bright and the neck line is just right for wearing over a t-shirt or a button down. What I like best about it is that it runs just a smidgen big, so my normal size of small, is just big enough to comfortably wear over a button down without having any awkward bumps or lumps.
