Tropical embroidered slip-on espadrilles

I'm surprised to see so many bad reviews on these shoes. They're true to size, super cute, and actually are comfortable. I've been wearing them a few hours/day and everyday for 2 weeks now and no blister at all.. The lining doesn't "burn" my feet unlike other J.Crew's real leather lining. I strongly recommend these.

These are even better looking in person! I wish I had sized up a 1/2 size because they are slightly smaller than other shoes I have purchased from jcrew

These shoes are adorable; every time I wear them I get compliments. However, they did require a week or so of breaking in, but afterwards they are one of the most comfortable shoes I own. The shoe does get stretched out significantly..so you run the risk of ending up with a misshapen shoe if you size up for comfort. My biggest complaint is that after a little over a month of wearing these those, they are absolutely in tatters. The rubber sole on one shoe began to fall off within three weeks, and now at the end of 5 weeks of wearing these shoes (only to work and errands) the rubber sole has completely cracked in half on both shoes! Now these shoes are held together only by the inside lining of the shoe. These shoes are not worth the price seeing that you can get about a month of daily wear.

If found these run 1/2 size big if wearing barefoot. It is a stiff shoe, and I can definitely see them giving me blisters. I will definitely wear a no show sock liner to protect my heel and because mine are too big. Other than that, the quality is very good, the stitching is well done, and the shoe is really really cute.

These are super cute! Great quality but are very stiff and narrow. There is no give to them so I can’t imagine they would ever be comfortable.. sadly sent them back..

I love the embroidery on these espadrilles. They are more like summer loafers than espadrilles since they are fully lined with leather like material. I’m used to espadrilles being canvas with a jute sole. These are very hot and I need a liner to tolerate wearing them as they are too painful without socks. I kept them for the style. I would say they are true to size but I could have also gone a half size up to accommodate liners.
