Sandwashed twill scarf dress

The dress fits perfectly. Although the dress looks casual, I wear it to work. You may dress it up with jewelry and a smoky blue eye.

I always wear a 10, 12 or medium in clothes from J. Crew Factory and actually my medium is getting a little closer to a large. When I ordered a 10 in this dress I thought it would be ok even though it was final sale. The dress arrived and I like the color and style but I am absolutely swimming in it! It gigantic, I'm not even sure an 8 would fit me. My mistake for taking the risk I guess....

This dress runs very large. I ordered a size 4 (typically I am a 4 or 6) and it was much too big. The waist was roomy and I was swimming in the extra fabric in the torso. The photo does not accurately depict the sand-washed quality of the fabric; the dress is more casual than it appears in the photo.

I love the color and style of this dress, but it was cut very strangely. I've ordered plenty of other J Crew dresses that fit well, but the torso on this was very short (the waistline hit around my ribs) and the arm holes were much too tight. Ordinarily I would just size up, but the waistline was super roomy as well, so I'd be swimming in the next size. I also thought the fabric was too heavy for a summer dress - it looks light and breezy in the picture, but it feels more like a brocade. Back it goes :-/.

Just bought this dress in the navy after loving the light green! It is super comfy and transitions well from work to weekend! Hoping it will come in black for the fall! Wish it didn't have to be dry cleaned - it's it only fault!
