Floral piqué dress

This dress is spectacular. The floral print and yellow and pink colors are gorgeous. The deep V is a little hard to pull off for a small chest, but still flattering. The waist nips in, the length hits just at the knee and flares out just a bit which makes it fancier for evening. I will pair these with a pink peep toe heel for a spring wedding, and then I will wear to very nice dinners out.

I felt so pretty in this dress, I wore it with navy suede ballet flats and even though I am 59 I felt quite contemporary. Lovely fabric, well made.

Very pretty dress, and the quality is better than most Factory dresses. Unfortunately, the bust runs very small. I'm always the same size in J.Crew dresses so I purchased my usual size; while the waist fits well, the bust is almost unzipperable. Can't wear a bra with it, and makes me look very flat (and I don't have a big chest). It's definitely just a poor cut. Haven't decided if I'll be keeping yet — it's not great but the fabric is so pretty. Another negative — it's lined in polyester. Completely unnecessary and ruins the point of a cotton dress. It gets very hot very quickly.

IT IS SO SHORT! I am not tall- quite average at 5'7" and WHOA, it is more like a tunic. Maybe if I were still in my early 20's! Too bad it was purchased as part of a final sale! The quality is always spot on here, so that is never an issue, fit other then length is great and the print is FAB. Just too dang short! Ugh.

This is an adorable floral dress - looks really lovely when styled with red lipstick and red shoes. It is also well-made, with substantial, textured fabric and enough structure to wear without a bra. It flares out enough to be cute but not too cutesy. A great price-point for a versatile summer frock.

A great fall dress. I never write reviews, but this dress, the pattern, took my breath away. The material is thicker, waffled and perfect for fall. It does run short and a size too small, however, I have another dress like this style, and it also runs short and small as well. My only suggestion for J.Crew for short dresses would be to leave about 1 1/2 " of material on bottom seam of the skirt, so if the length is too short for some, one can let the seam out or fold it out, some other brands are doing this simple alternative. The dresses have been getting awfully short, especially for office attire, it is inappropriately short. I am 5'5 and the dress is 3" above my knees. The skirt part of the dress is sitting very high, right under the chest. Overall, I am very happy with the purchase.
