Lantern earrings

I think these are my favorite earrings to date, and that's saying something because my earring collection is pretty extensive. These earrings go perfectly with absolutely everything. I love them so much I went back and bought them in the pink color as well!

I'm not sure why jcrew doesn't always put in the measurements for jewelry, it would be very helpful. Sometimes I hesitate because I've been surprised either by jewelry being much smaller or much much larger than anticipated. Often you must depend on reviews, and some peoples ideas of "large" are quite odd. In this case, one reviewer indicated these were hugely over-sized. I was scared to buy them because I thought they'd be ugly if they were really large sweater or coat button sized earrings -- TRUST ME, THAT IS ABSOLUTELY NOT THE CASE!!!!! They are barely a 1/2 inch square, probably 3/8". If these are crazy over-sized for you, you probably don't wear much more than a tiny diamond or pearl stud. If that's your style, not sure why you'd buy these anyway. These earrings are cute. I got the blue, it's a baby blue. They are a normal sized earring, like I said about 3/8 in square. Nothing crazy here ladies, just something a little fun when you want to throw something easy on.

These earrings are huge. Keep in mind that they are 0.75 of an inch in width and length. Basically these are big boxes hanging on your earlobes. These would have been great if they just were smaller in size. This over-sized jewelery trend just needs to go away.

Amazing, beautiful earrings! These earrings are both casual and dressy! They're a little edgy & rocker, but also classy. The gold-toned ones are a bit of an antiqued gold & I love it... takes any prissy right out of 'em. I'm so happy I ordered them! I've worn these every day since I received them.
