March 19, 2017Love these shorts! They stay on your waist (not your hips), lay flat under shirts and you can actually bend over w/o revealing anything! The fabric is more substantial than the Chino shorts this year and is not see through. Please add more styles and colors, JCREW!

June 11, 2016I purchased these in navy and white and really like the print. It's subtle but interesting and the fit of these is exceptional. They are an appropriate length to wear in public, yet not too long. These shorts could be dressed up or casual without being sloppy-looking. Nice work JCrew.

Cute Pattern, Awkward Fit
April 26, 2016I bought these shorts because I loved the colors and floral pattern. However, they run a bit large, as I find most items at J Crew do. They are very stiff and are more of a high-waist style, which is fine. In all honesty, they kind of remind me of my middle school gym coach who wore her shorts up past her navel. I think if you had the right top, they could be cute. I think tucking the top in would be the best way to wear the style, BUT there are no belt loops... Cute idea. Poor execution.
