What customers are saying:
Customers generally like this skirt for its classic, work-friendly style, good drape, and versatile look that pairs well with heels, flats, or a blazer. The material is often described as lovely and the skirt is praised for holding its shape and feeling well made. A few customers suggested sizing up, since it can run small through the hips and waist for some fits. Some also noted the length runs shorter than expected, so that may be worth checking before ordering.

Light weight wool pencil skirt
September 3, 2017I just received this. The material is lovely and I like the quality, however the description said it was 23 1/2"' and it's only 21". It looks like a mini skirt on me. It's going back.

June 17, 2017I was disappointed with the quality, style and fit. I have worn pencil skirts from J. Crew and they fit so good.

December 24, 2016I have several of these skirts. However I think they run small. I order one size larger.

Almost cried when I received this skirt
November 20, 2016We've come to rely on J.Crew to always take the quality down a notch, and they did not disappoint this time. I have both the regular J.Crew 120s suits and the old JCF 100% wool suits that they made prior to this season. This ne version is made out of an AWFUL wool/poly blend that feels rough to the touch, drapes horribly, and wrinkles easily (a decent wool suit should not wrinkle!) I bought the whole suit set in multiple colors and didn't even bother trying everything on. SO cheap looking, and not even worth the sale price. I sent everything back and regret not stocking up on these suits when they were 100% wool.
