Cute but not worth the price
December 29, 2016I bought this sweater last year and saved it until this Christmas to wear and let me tell you if i would of worn it sooner i would of hated it sooner. the sweater is beautiful but when you wear it it peels like crazy! to me that is a big no no especially when you've only worn it for a few hours? i would have definatley returned it too bad I am stuck with a useless sweater now

Comfortable sweater
April 20, 2016I got the small (I'm 5'3" ~120lbs). I have a similar factory fair isle sweater in grey and it is the most comfortable thing to throw on top in the winter. It's a little more snug in some areas but not exactly curve-hugging (maybe the "boxy" fit someone else was describing). That's the style I wanted with this sweater - comfortable and warm! *You do have to handwash this sweater because of the knit, a little inconvenient, but it stays nice.

Christmas in a sweater
December 17, 2015I love winter because I can bring out my fair isle sweaters, I especially love J crew and J crew factory's fair isle sweaters. I read the previous reviews on this sweater... It is a little short but not a ridiculous amount, I think in general I like the size of Jcrews sweater they all kind of fit right at my hips. I thought it was a little boxy, but it gives me that more comfort feel because of it. The colors are great, it really does remind me of that red that everyone loves to wear around Christmas time, but it's also very feminine. I paired this with the multi pearl necklace, and it looks AMAZING.

December 16, 2015I am always a size small at J.Crew Factory. This sweater has a shorter torso and arms than usual. I'd size up unless you want to have 3/4 leave sleeves instead of long sleeves and to have to keep pulling the front down over your undershirt.

Boxy fit and super short
November 23, 2015I'm 5'3" 125 lbs and got this sweater in a small, my usual J Crew size. The sweater is gorgeous but so so short. It barely comes to my hip bones and the sleeves barely come to my wrists. Normally, being shorter, sleeves are much too long for me. The sweater is soft but just not a good fit. If you're shorter, maybe it would work but if you want a nice, normal length sweater this isn't for you. My hunt for a good fair isle sweater continues.
