Gingham skirt

I usually wear XXS in Jcrew pieces. I am 5'4'' and 100lbs. The skirt hits good 2-3inches above my knees, which is too short for me. It may work as a mini on someone shorter than me, but with the drawstring waist, it just looked too childish and weird. So sad because it is 100% cotton and would have been a lovely spring/summer piece going with anything!

Pros: comfortable, cute print, great price Cons: needs ironing I bought a size 00 but the elastic band was too tight, I usually buy a 00 for pencil skirts but this squeezed too much. I think a 0 would have worked. In store they had none so I had to return. I wish jcrew had an easier return policy like Nordstrom or asos, would definitely purchase more on line if that were the case.

The description of the skirt did not say it was a mini skirt. Very disappointed. I loved the look and the cute gingham design. Couldn't wait to wear it for summer. It arrived and hit me just short of my fanny and I am only 5'4". I kept it only because I sewed a wide lace band around the bottom of the skirt. It gives it a country look.

Plenty big on my straight up and down shape. 5'4" 127#, 37" hips and wishing I would have tried a size down. Cute skirt with lots of styling options!

I absolutely loved everything about this skirt but the length. It was just too short.

Love this skirt- gingham is so on trend and also a classic! Unfortunately this skirt was way too short on me. I definitely think it's shorter than my other sidewalk skirts. Fits true to size and the material was very nice- just wish it was slightly longer.
