Double Serge Wool Skirt
August 9, 2019I purchased in what appeared to be a rich burgundy, but it is a washed out color. Additionally, this is not like any double serge wool I have worn. The material is a cross between burlap and felt. Final sale so I can't return it. Going in the donation bin.

Not a J.Crew Factory Pencil Skirt
February 26, 2019I love shopping here! I am a solid 8 in bottoms. I love the double serge wool pencil skirts over the cotton ones because they don’t wrinkle throughout the day. They are so convenient and great to rotate within your professional work attire. I have several colors of the double serge wool pencil and like to order them on sale. I don’t mind the final sale because I am sure of my size and fit. This one came and it was so much bigger than my other size 8s. This one has been worn and washed once. I went to wear it again and noticed that the band around the waist had come apart from the skirt on the side. I looked again at the label. It said “Mercantile” and not “J. Crew Factory the Pencil Skirt” like my other ones say that are from here. Just be aware of this difference in labels and quality. I guess I have to now pull out my sewing kit. :(
