Striped daybreak dress

The material is comfortable, thick and good quality...the pockets are well hidden but the elastic and ruffles are slightly high at the waist are just a bit too puffy for my taste. I am 5’5” 135 lbs (36-29-37) and purchased the M

I thought I was going to be able to wear this to work in the summertime. I'm 5'7.5" and it falls to upper-mid thigh for me. It's a cute dress and fits well through the bodice, and it has a cute shape. But this was a big disappointment. I wish Factory had tall sizes!

Great dress with thick fabric. Another reviewer said the stripes are a screeprint and cracks when the fabric is stretched. That is NOT the case on my dress. The lines are knit into the fabric. I deducted one star because the bottom flared part of the dress was more voluminous than expected. Still a cute dress, and I’ve already worn it to work with a cardigan.

The fabric was thicker than anticipated, but provides a more polished look for the office. This dress can fit many occasions - pockets are always a plus. I'm 5'6", 140 lbs and the medium fit well!

I'm 5'4", 117 lbs., athletic build, mom of 2. I love a fit-and-flare dress, but sometimes the cut can make a "mommy tummy" more pronounced...or even exist where one wouldn't otherwise be. But not this dress! The waist seam on this dress is at the natural waist, but the flare on the skirt isn't frumpy. On me, the bottom hem falls just above the knee. I wore this last month with black tights and black knee-high boots...but it'll be super cute this summer with flats or wedges, too! This is versatile, classic piece. The pockets are more in the front than on the side, which is great because it doesn't flare out extra at the hips. Fits true to size. I'm a 2 or 4 in JCrew, and got this in an XS. If you have a larger chest, I would size up.

I love the Daybreak dress style (and have several beautiful solid colors from 2014-2016 seasons) but this one is not worth my time. The stripes are strangely 'painted' on - it's not alternating black and white fabric, it's white fabric with black coloring applied to it. When the fabric is pulled, the black stripes separate, making it look cracked. I have no idea how many times this dress could go through the wash without the stripes pealing off! Up the quality please - I have always loved the style!
