Lightweight wool trouser

Need some flexibility for my athletic built. A little too snug

I was so excited to receive these pants, based on the reviews they should have fit. I am a size 2-4 in J Crew pants on the regular website. I ordered a P6, these pants should have fit with room to spare, I wanted the length. Well, the pants did NOT fit, they barely made it up over my thighs, I am only a size 8 in shirts because of my bust size.. Bottom line is, the sizing is so far off on these pants. My intention was to buy the blazer and pants in all the colors for work. Now I need to wait and see if the regular size 6 fits, then get them hemmed, or send the blazer back as well. As one other reviewer stated, these sizes make one feel fat. I am so bummed out right now.

I have been in need of good quality trousers for work that were also fairly priced. Finally found them with this pair. The wool is a good, easy weight that drapes well and the pant is entirely lined, a must for me for wool. The seams all laid flat and the back pockets didn't bunch, giving a smooth appearance. My only minor wish is a tiny bit more room in the thigh, but this is a common wish for me due to personal physique and not really a fault of the pant. If you have very muscular legs, they may be a bit snug when you sit, otherwise, these are a great pair of trousers.

I'm 5'3" and weigh 98 lbs. (32-24-32). Ordered these pants in navy and gray, both were a size P0. Pants fit perfectly, proved to be quite comfortable, and was surprisingly well made. This was my first time buying a suit from JCREW FACTORY; it definitely won't be my last!

Ladies..these sizes are a joke! I’m typically a size 14..but i bought a size 16 and 18 to try before an interview. Um..the size 18 couldn’t even make it over my hips!! This is ridiculous. I compared the measurements to nordstrom and JCrew Factory size 18 is equivalent to a typical size 12! are u kidding me?! Horrible and i’m not supporting JCrews body shame. Don’t size an 18 to fit the body of a size 12..ur telling the size 12 girl that she’s fat and you’re telling the size 18 girl that shes too fat to enjoy your clothes. Get with it and rethink your sizes before the media blasts you and puts you in a bad spotlight..again.

Modern pants for suiting or paired with a silk blouse. They are true to fit with a lower rise. Based on others reviews I sized up, then had to return for my normal size. If you're curvy or pear shaped then you might need to size up with the lower rise, especially since the band is wide. I am happy with the quality and no stretch material. I wish the thread was a poly-blend though. I'm afraid the cotton thread with rip out with wear and time. Keep fabricating this staple work pant!
