Crepe pencil skirt

It's difficult when purchasing online products and this was no exception. The back of the skirt had seam lines that were just unflattering on me. I really wanted something more classic .

I usually order a size 6 or 8P, depending on the length i like. I ordered this skirt on a size 6 and i have no doubt that it has the wrong size tag - it fits more like a size 10 and it falls to my knees. The sad part is that i cannot exchange it for maybe a size 4.

I bought this skirt in black, size 10. I'm usually a 10/12, but the 10 fit perfectly. It's an awesome staple piece.

I am petite (5'3") , size 00 and ordered the regular 00 in emerald. The length is perfect and hits a couple of inches above my knees. This pencil skirt is not as long as most pencil skirts, so if you are petite, I would advise ordering a regular size. Excellent quality and fit.

I'm very pleased with this skirt. I ordered the emerald color and it looks just like the picture. The material has a nice weight to it without being too heavy, and I think it will wear well over time and through different seasons. I also appreciate how the pockets are placed vertically on the sides for stylish flair without adding bulk. The fit of the skirt is slightly more a-line on me than tapered at the knee, but I'm okay with it since this makes it easier for sitting at the office. Another plus is that it didn't wrinkle after sitting for awhile. The skirt looks great with peplum tops, crop-tops, and tucked-in blouses. I'm 5'5", 125 lbs, and my usual size 4 fits perfectly. An all-around winner that I'll probably purchase in more colors.
