Wool topcoat

I bought the navy blue coat. However, it looks black. You have to get really close to see that it is navy blue. I have received many compliments on this coat. This coat is a lint magnet, so have your lint brush ready.

I had been wanting to purchase a Jcrew Wool Topcoat for several years now. When I found this amazing deal this year I went ahead & bought it. The delivery was incredibly quick as it shipped straight from CO so I ended up getting it much quicker than I had anticipated. The coat is gorgeous. The wool is high quality, the perfect navy color that is timeless & goes with everything. The length is perfect for me being a petite person, 5'2 110lbs. I adore the striped classic blue and white lining. This coat does have pockets, just open the seams. It's plenty warm for most occasions throughout the fall and winter. This topcoat is everything I'm looking for this year to add to my collection. Next year I'm hoping to scoop up the camel color at last! One thing is that I am a small person and getting the smallest sizes are always appreciated at Jcrew but still it runs a little large. I'd say that the sleeve length is perfect, and the length but the jacket itself could be cut a bit more slim.

As others noted, it is a bit large in the waist, but not so much that it looks sloppy. I'm 5'2, 104 ordered 00. It may need a back dart or an inch narrower for a better fit, but at the same time appreciate the option to comfortably add layers. It's a nice fit without being so tailored (as lady day) that can still be worn with suit jackets, etc and a nice weight for milder winter,late fall days. A great classic to have in your closet and love that it is a proper dark navy.

Great coat and very well made! Great purchase and it's a classic I'll have it as long as I can fit it. It also has a beautiful feel to it.

I’ve had this coat for 2 months and the material is wearing out already. On the underside of the sleeves, under the arms and above the pockets it looks very worn out and there are fabric balls forming. It looks like I’ve had the coat for 5 years!!!! Save your money and go elsewhere to get a coat that will last!

I ordered this coat in navy and could not be happier. Great quality and fits true to size. I love the baby blue pinstripe lining of the coat as well as when you flip up the collar it is grey on the outside. I’ve worn it in both formal and casual settings and very happy with the price!
