Laser-cut floral dress

The actual dress color is closer to dark blue than the sky blue shown in picture. The fabric is very stiff and not comfortable. Lastly, it runs very large. I already ordered a size down and it was still too loose.

Feeling very light, but uncomfortable to the skin when wearing, probably because of fabric material. Also, the sewing pattern is not fit for body shape.

I get so many compliments when I wear this dress. Everyone always says it looks "expensive" because of the material. I have this dress in the light blue, and my co-worker has it in the darker blue - both look great! My only big complaint, and I have this issue with a lot of other J Crew products as well, is that it wrinkles very quickly. I have to get it dry cleaned pretty much every time I wear it.

The fabric is a little itchy on the outside, but once you get it on, you don't feel it really. This is really my new favorite dress. It does run a bit large, so I sized down and it fit me perfectly. I actually like the length of it. I'm 5'2" and it hits me right at the knee. It's a good length for church or work. Seriously. New favorite.

When I received my dress in navy, I was worried because it isn't lined, but the fabric is thick and heavy and the lining isn't necessary. The silhouette is that of a shift dress, it is straight from shoulders down, but you could wear it with a belt if you wanted a more defined waist. I have worn it a few times and received a ton of compliments from co-workers and even strangers on the train ride home. The cutouts add a unique detail, so the need for jewelry or accessories is minimal. I'm considering buying this dress in another color.

I bought this dress as a versatile piece that I could wear to anything from bridal showers to work. The laser cut design is super cute and the fabric quality is great. However, as other reviews have indicated, it runs SUPER big. I normally wear 2-4 in clothes, so after I read the reviews I ordered a 2P, still huge. I exchanged it for a 00 (and I'm never a 00) and it fits much better although it is still a little loose.
