Printed tie-waist shirt

Great style. Great fabric. Problem is when you raise your arms, the shirt comes up. I mean way up.

I wanted to love this shirt! The fabric is light and airy and the different prints are all so cute. BUT, it is SO short. At 5'3 with a small bust, if something is short on me, even with high waisted jeans, then that mean's it's really short. As other reviewers have noted, the shirt hits at a very weird place - it's like Jcrew couldn't decide whether to make it a crop top or a normal top, so went with some awkward length in between, which totally ruined what would otherwise have been a great piece. (Also, since you can roll up the front of button-downs when you tie them to make them as short or long as you'd like, I don't really see why Jcrew didn't give at least a little extra fabric in the front to allow more people to adjust the shirt to fit their body.) This is poor design, poor execution, and poor quality.

This shirt is so cute. I love the design and the tied bottom is so great with some high waist jeans. The quality is great and fits true to size. I am 5'8", 140 athletic and my normal size Small is perfect!

This shirt will be a great piece for the transition from summer to fall. The material is very light and the shirt is very comfortable. The tie in the front adds some flair.

In order for my waist to remain covered, I need to keep my arms down along my body at all. I did not expect this based on another tie-waist shirt that I own in the same size but from another store. It will look cute on a sun dress but that was not what I thought I was buying. The long sleeves fit fine.

This is a very cute shirt to wear over a tank or tee. It's pretty thin so even in the summer, it isn't too hot to wear it layered especially working in an office environment.
