Washed canvas weekender bag

Just like other reviews, I experienced an issue with the zipper on this bag. It looks so good and had potential to be a great staple, but the zipper either sticks when trying to close/open or it splits open if you manage to close it . Unfortunately, I purchased this when no reviews existed and I didn't try to use it until months after I purchased it. Don't take a risk on this item.

I used this item one time and the zipper failed. I considered having a new zipper sewn in--that would've made this one-star bag a four-star bag, but the stitching of the zipper is covered by the lining inside, and so I assumed a zipper swap would be much more difficult and therefore much more expensive. Considering all the zipper failures of this product, J.Crew Factory should pull the item. And considering how much everyone seems to love the product aside from the zipper issue, they should have the item produced with a better zipper. The return process was quick and easy, and I applaud J.Crew Factory for that.

This bag is cool but the zipper broke after only two weeks of using it for the gym.

I was so excited to have this bag. It’s beautiful, classic and strong quality. Unfortunately I just packed it up to leave for weekend and the zipper is broken and now the perfect bag is no longer any use.

Just used this bag for a carryon for a recent trip. The bag is well made. Quality of canvas great. Able to load a pretty good sized gift package, a sweater, my neck pillow, a hardback book, and bottle of water for my flight. Shoulder strap made carrying easy. Will be able to easily use for a weekend getaway as well.
