Stunning jacket for casual or dressy occasion
December 3, 2020In my quest for a casual jacket to wear for everyday, I turned to J.Crew as my first alternative. I found this great jacket and the best part is that it's machine washable which is sort of the point if it's going to be a kick-around everyday jacket. When it arrived, it was so much better than I even imagined it would be. It looks elegant and extremely well-made. Yes, I recommend this jacket highly! Looks great and fits quite so good.

Front doesn’t lay correctly
April 15, 2020Cute, casual jacket. But because it’s unlined, the front won’t lay properly and the lapels seemed to constantly need adjusting. I was afraid I’d be messing with it too much. This one went back.

Too Casual for Me
November 13, 2019I didn’t notice it before I ordered it, but the front pockets are just a bit too casual looking for what I want in a suit. The interior finishing was also less formal than the classic suits I’ve gotten from J Crew. Color matched well with the coordinating pants and skirt, but I returned this because it’s not formal enough and also because it looked too big on me (I probably should’ve sized down a size or two, which I’ve done with suit jackets in the past too) - the shoulders were too big and sleeves too long and loose.
