Herringbone jumper

I recently purchased this dress online for a casual option for work. I'm 5"9, 140lbs and ordered it in a size 6. The quality of the dress is nice and it is fully lined. It works great with a cardigan and flats.

This dress is stunning. The herringbone pattern is beautiful in person. It's a perfect winter staple for the office. I wanted to mention that the other reviewer recommended sizing up with this dress, claiming that the lining was tight. However, it runs LARGE. I took her recommendation and sized up one size, and I was disappointed when I found that the dress did NOT run small, it actually ran bigger than normal. So I had to return and re-purchase two sizes down. I highly recommend ordering your "normal J.Crew size" whatever that might be, and consider sizing down as well. Because of the "loser" fit and design of this dress, you'll be glad that you did.

This dress is a good, higher-quality fabric. The print is more eye catching in person than in the photos. I loved the cut and length. However, I figured it would run quite large like most J.Crew/Factory items and it didn't. I ordered my usual size, 0, and it was pretty hard to get on. While it didn't look noticeably tight, the lining underneath was too tight and made me feel uncomfortable. I would recommend this dress just be cautious on the sizing.
