Tie-waist shirt-dress

Love this dress, had to order a size up after finding my regular jcrew size was a little too snug. this dress is small in the bust (which works for me) and there isn't a ton of stretch. Wish this dress came in another color because khaki is not the most complementary color for caucasian people. Jcrew, if you make this dress in khaki green or navy I would definitely buy it!

I hardly ever write reviews, but must share how much I love this dress. Thick, structured, and tts vs many other brands. Can work in a casual office setting or on the weekend. Adorable dressed up with heels or wedges. Buttons are placed that you can unbutton two at the top to show off a necklace, but not flash anyone your cleavage. For reference, 5foot1, 145lb with a pear shape, I bought a 6. Hits at mid-knee for me. This should be a brand classic. Jcrew, more like this please! If you make more in other colors, I’ll buy them all:)

This dress looks so cute online but is terrible in person. The fabric is extremely thick and the dress is thus very heavy. It has zero shape despite having a belt and truly looks like a potato sack. I will be returning.

I love this dress so much! The material is thick and will be perfect for fall. The dress fits true to size and does not run large like most things at J Crew Factory. I would go with your normal size. This dress is great for curvier girls.
