Denim short in Lexi wash

I feel like I'm in the minority of all the other reviews, but I was slightly disappointed by these jean shorts. I went down a size like everyone recommended, I'm usually a 26 and I ordered a 25 and still feel like these shorts were too big. They did not have the fitted/stretchy look like they do in this picture, the cuff does not stay up, i'm continually having to re-roll it and the butt area just was not that flattering in my opinion.

I have a tough time finding shorts that fit me, but these were even worse than most pairs I try. I'm 5'6" and 130 lbs, but have a small waist and larger thighs. I'm typically a size 26, which is what I bought in these. The legs hugged my thighs (not too tight, but not the relaxed fit I was looking for), but the waist was huge! I could've fit another person in the waist! Disappointed because I really loved the style and feel of the fabric.

Great pair of shorts for the price. The length is good—not too long, not too short. Just right for wearing out, no need to worry about showing too much skin. They’re nice and soft, yet sturdy...nothing came apart when I washed them but I’d definitely recommend laying flat to dry. They run a little big, so I’d recommend sizing down—2 sizes for a snug fit, 1 size for a more relaxed fit. For size reference, I’m 5’3” and 116 lbs; I went with a 25 waist (normally a 27). Highly recommend as a good quality basic short.

I really like these shorts, they fit so well and are so comfortable. My only wish is that they had kept their folds when you fold them over. They come folded and are styled folded online, so I assumed they were sewed that way, but after one wash, the fold totally left and I have to iron it back every single time I want to wear them.

I am athletic and about 5'6" and 140 pounds. I carry my weight in the hips and because of that I usually size up in shorts. I ordered a size 27 as I heard these ran big and I am glad I did. They fit perfectly. They are 100% cotton so they won't stretch out immediately (one of my biggest pet peeves!) I would recommend.

I ordered based on other reviews that these shorts run true to size. I ordered my usual size and they are extremely small and would not go up. They also seemed shorter than previous years jeans shorts. Unfortunately, back to the store they go and now I’m on the hunt for a pair of jean shorts that do fit.
