Nice shorts but a little large

Too big, too baggy
July 17, 2021I was hoping these would fit, but they were too big and baggy for me, so I returned them. Otherwise, I liked the color and style of these shorts, but the fit didn't work.

Perfect length
June 16, 2021I ordered these in a size 28, which is my usual J.Crew size for jeans (and also what was recommended), and they fit, but do run a little large in the waist (nothing a belt can't fix or I can wear them a bit lower on my hips and they don't fall off). I probably could have gotten away with the size 27 since they are a high-waisted style and do stretch out a bit as the days goes on, but regardless I love the style and the length is perfect. They are a great summer staple and go with everything, and more importantly, are comfortable. I am 5'4", 128 lbs and pear-shaped and typically wear a 4/small at J.Crew.
