Velvet sidewalk mini skirt

Don’t listen to the other reviews !! All the reviews said it runs small .. IT DOES NOT !!! . I’m usually a size 10 and rarely a size 12 . I ordered a size 12 because all the reviews said it was too small and too short ! It totally was not ! When I tried it on it was too long and too big from the waist ! I was so disappointed! Obviously all the girls on here don’t know a thing about being chic or a little bit sexy ! And now I’m so mad because it’s final sale , I wasted my money ,and i can’t get my actual size and it’s actually really cute !!! I’m actually worried for the girls who reviewed this product they need to learn how things are supposed to be fitted .

The fabric is good, but the style is horrid. I thought this would look good and I purchased this as a final sale item and can't return it. I also purchased the matching top, which is another horror story. How could JCrew poorly execute something as simple as a skirt? The waistband is wide and looks wrinkled and the soft pleats in it make my hips look wide, despite the fact that I'm a size 2. This is vanity sizing and runs large. I do not recommmend this product.

I own probably 5 or 6 other sidewalk skirts. I was so excited to order this skirt to wear on Christmas, so I ordered my usual size. Imagine my disappointment when it was significantly smaller than all my other ones! The waist fit fine because of the elastic, but it was super short in comparison and the skirt was way too tight across my legs. Ended up having to wear it because I didn't have a backup outfit, but am super bummed! Likely won't be wearing this again.

I decided to size up from my other two sidewalk minis and this and the other one I bought fits smaller than the size down.

I really wanted to like this skirt but it makes your hips look really wide. Unfortunately will be returning.

I own multiple sidewalk skirts from J.Crew Factory, they are so easy to wear and very versatile. I thought this would be a great winter addition so I ordered to wear for Christmas Eve. I ordered the same size as all of my other sidewalk skirts and was greatly disappointed. I could barely get the skirt over my hips and there was no room to move my legs. There was also this bulge that was created in the front. I quickly pulled out a sidewalk skirt from my closet thinking something was wrong with me and it fit perfect, loose actually. I am assuming that the fabric is the culprit of the poor fit, but I was greatly disappointed, especially because all other 5 sidewalk skirts I own all in the same size fit perfect. Order up if you can!
