Classic shell sweater

Love this shell year-round! Under a sweater or cardigan for layering in the winter, and looking polished in the spring and summer with the option to add a blazer in the A/C at the office and looks great by itself while out and about/ running errands. I usually get medium or large and large works best for me in these shells.

I love, love this classic shell, both to wear on its own and under the matching sweater. I own so many of these twin sets in all colors, both from Jcrew and factory. Recently, it seems that the cut from the shell has become a tag longer and larger, especially the armpit.

I like these shells to wear under JC sweater jackets that have slim fitting arms. They are also good as vests. My usual size L was a bit loose on me (38D bra) but fit more closely as a vest over a button- down shirt. In fact, even though loose fitting it did not look sloppy. The fabric is thin, as is the fabric of the matching cardigans. I did not like the look of the two together...too unstructured and relaxed..but I like the shell and the cardigan worn separately. Happy with purchase.

Great sweater top that is so versatile. I got the pink and academic green with the coordinating cardigans… and went back for the black. Perfect for travel and seasons when the temperature is varying. Perfect layering piece. True to size.

Great tank sweater. Easy to dress up and layer. My only complaint is I wish it was longer, but it works for high waisted pants and skirts for work.

Love these sweater twin sets cardigan & shell, such an easy, classic look. I usually wear a M or L and go with L in these just for a smooth look with nice drape. I find the armhole on the shell sweater to be a bit loose, whether I wear M or L, so I stitch it in a little for a snug fit. I have many colors but the pastels are my favorite.
