Ankle-strap sandals

Extremely disappointed with this purchase. Although these shoes look cute, I'll agree with everyone else here in saying that they are NOT FUNCTIONAL. I tried them on in my house and walked around and thought they were great at first. Then, after wearing them out for the first time, the ankle strap slipped off within 5 seconds (even after securing them on the tightest setting). I thought it was maybe a one time thing but NOPE, it slips every time. Now it is too late to return them and I am very disappointed. As cute as these are, they are NOT FUNCTIONAL AT ALL. DO NOT BUY.

I just ordered my second pair. I love this sandal . Goes with everything, jeans, dresses, pants etc. The first pair i scuffed a little at the edge on top. It was my fault not the fault of the sandal, so wanted a fresh pair that I will travel with. Very comfortable and the color is perfect.

I love these sandals as they are super cute on & the tan color goes with everything. Plus I have narrow feet & they fit perfectly - usually sandals with straps will be too loose/wide. The problem like others have mentioned is the back strap will not stay up so I am constantly pulling them up. I will never be able to wear these any where I have to walk any distance because after about 10-12 steps the straps fall down & they are hard to walk in/keep on with the back strap not where it should be. If that wasn't the case I'd be tempted to order them in other colors. If you have wider heels/ankles these may work well for you.

First off if you have wide feet these won't fit you. I have narrow feet and have been looking for several seasons for just these shoes. Stylish, very comfortable with lightly cushioned footbed and well made. I haven't had any problem with ankle strap slipping myself. I just love them thank you J Crew!

...the back straps loosen up at the ankles so constantly falls which means my feet are not secured into sandals as it should be. I’ve tightened it as much as possible. I’m used to wearing strapless sandals around the ankles anyway but it would have been nice to be able to walk more freely without having to worry about my feet eventually slipping from behind. Love the look though!

I'm usually a 9.5, ended up having to size up to an 11. I have narrow, flat feet and they fit fine. The issue is the back strap that goes around the back of your ankle. Since it's not attached to anything and the heel of the foot is round, they slide off no matter how tight you tighten the buckle and the strap is just at the bottom of the shoe as you walk. Disappointing since they are cute sandals.
