Striped knit maxi skirt

I purchased this skirt thinking it woukd be a great spring/summer piece. However,it is very large. I orederd xxs and usually everything from jcrew fits oerfetly. This one just didnt do it for me.

The only reason I returned this skirt because the color and pattern were louder than I expected, and I couldn't pair it easily with other things in my closet. Bright coral is no joke! That being said, I was really happy about the fit (I'm 5'1" but wouldn't necessarily need to hem) and fabric, which felt solidly mid-weight and soft. If it came in other colors and prints, I'd definitely buy those.

I read other reviews before purchasing this skirt. I almost didn't buy it because of the complaints about the look of the skirt once the waistband is folded over. I am 5'5", and I folded the waistband over, so it wouldn't be too long. There's no weird bunching; it looks good unfolded or folded. It's a perfect weight for spring/summer so highly recommended.

Being 5'3", it is difficult to wear maxis sometimes, but this skirt is great! It has a nice waist band that keeps it in place on your waist or hips.

Not that great but not horrible either. I was hoping for a breezy, free flowing maxi skirt with flattering lines, but this missed the mark. The cut of this skirt is oddly unflattering--when worn, the skirt looks "rounded" down the sides, making me look bulbous. It's the cut of the skirt that does this--makes it look bigger than it should. Add to that the fact that the material is a heavy poly, so it doesn't convey the casual, breezy fun vibe one would expect from the photo.
