Drapey short

They say drapey in the description of the product, but when I tried them on, they weren't so much drapey as fitted. They weren't tight, but they weren't at all drapey. They are a nice drapey material, which may be what J.Crew Factory meant. They fit well and are very flattering, I did keep them. I got black which is a great true black, and the material is such that it won't fade.

Such a wonderful basic piece to have in your wardrobe. Can be dressed up and down, and though this style is on the shorter side (3") it looks alot more dressy than a pair of denim shorts. It's hard to pick a size based on reviews unless you're familiar with the brand and cut. I only decided to review these as people were saying it runs small. I'm normally a 00/0 and in this style,00 is very large on me. There is still plenty of room with a shirt tucked in. Ideally, I'd size down to a 000 but these will have to do.

I bought the black short and love it. Nice style and material, I can dress up or down with it. I want to get the navy color too.

I knew these shorts would be great quality. Not only that, but I got them on sale! Great fit. Not booty shorts, but not long granny shorts. They were perfect for a night out with the girls, paired with heels and a stylish chiffon top. They'd also do well with a sexy white collared shirt, or this fall with a solid sweater, some knitted tights and black booties.

As others have noted, these do run a bit small, so I went up a size and I am glad I did. The bright red color is lovely and the material make them feel premium. These are the type of shorts you want to dress up versus dressing down, they look great with pumps.

Thanks to the reviews! I am size 2 but i bought in size 4 and they work great but now they are not fitted at thighs which doesn't make it flattering otherwise the quality and style is very great and ofcourse the color too..
