Cotton cardigan

I read the reviews and did not listen . The buttons do open by themselves. I have to wear a tank underneath to be certain not to get any unintended attention.

Cardigan was very thin, very boxy, and really thin.

I accept some blame, I should have looked at the other colours for reference, but the photo of the pink version appeared to be a proper cardigan. What I received was a *very* thin t-shirt material, shaped like a cardigan, and well below the standards of which I have come to expect from J Crew (factory or not). It is completely see-through. Even my pink nail polish was visible as I put my arm in the sleeve. You cannot wear this without a camisole or shirt underneath - a bra (or nothing) would expose everything. This will not deter me in the slightest from continuing to shop online with J Crew/Factory. I should have paid closer attention to the photos of the other colours though, it would have been more apparent had I done so. I'm still loyal to J Crew, and always will be - they have stayed classy, classic, and quality (mostly).

I got the four available colors and would buy at least four more. This is my favorite thing to wear over a tee shirt and jeans or leggings! I tend to be too hot in sweaters so this is the perfect weight for me. When I received these in the mail, they looked a little too large for me, so I washed one and it shrank just slightly to the perfect fit. (They are cotton after all). I wear them unbuttoned for a casual look so I don’t have a problem with the buttons like some other reviewers.

I really love this cardigan - its lightweight and fitted. I work in a school and the heat is sometimes overwhelming therefore the weight is perfect. The color is fabulous. The thing that kind of upset me is that while i was wearing it for the first time - all of the button holes started to stretch and it became unbuttoned as I wore it . I kept having to re-button. Definitely something to think about.

I was so excited to get this sweater. I loved everything about it and planned to wear like shown on the model. Was deeply disappointed to find that the buttons would not stay buttoned. Pretty sure I flashed at least three people before noticing. It is very comfortable and will still be ok over a tank or tee but still disappointed.
