Heavyweight terry crewneck sweatshirt

I ordered this based on reviews. I wear a large and this fits like an extra large

This is my sons new favorite sweatshirt. Ordered a medium and which we had ordered a large because he prefers them to be a little loose. One of the softest and most comfortable sweatshirts.

Bought this recently, washed, and dried the sweatshirt before wear. This sweatshirt shrunk (as I anticipated), but in a very odd and disproportionate way. Shoulders experienced very little shrinkage whereas the waist area shrunk quite a lot. Neck size/neck opening is way too large and will show anything you wear underneath. I was hoping to add this as a smart casual item. Now, I'll only wear it as a pajama top or a beach wear.

I'm struggling to rate this one because I really like the sweatshirt... I just don't understand who it's made for. I ordered a large because I'm overweight, but it fits like one of the mediums I have from when I was not overweight. I've run into large clothes in the past that were maybe designed for guys who are taller than they are wide, but this isn't cut especially long either. Basically, order a size up. Looks-wise it's excellent and the stitching seems really good. Despite the small size, I've been wearing it anyway during quarantine. No one can tell the fit is off in a Zoom call.

I agree with the other reviewer - this runs small. My son is normally a medium but we will order a large and hope that it fits better.

You’ll want a size up from what you’d expect, a large was definitely more like a medium.
