V-neck wrap dress

I was recently gifted this dress in light blue and it’s even better in real life than online! The wide wrap sashes allow the bodice to be tied to form a very flattering silhouette and the length is ideal. The skirt is full and fits me well despite my wider hips. The material is thin (perfect for summer!) with a bit of stretch but not sheer in the least. I recently wore it to a bridal shower and received numerous compliments. Should this dress be brought back next year in more colors or materials, I will likely be buying another.

I slipped on this dress and forgot for a second that we were in the middle of a pandemic. It brightened my day so! I instantly wanted to wear it the next day but decided against it. It needs a good iron/steam. It's pretty substantial fabric which I appreciate. I'm glad to add this number to my Spring/Summer wardrobe.

The product image shows an elegant, voluminous, (maybe) midi dress. In reality, the color is more of a periwinkle than the beautiful sky blue shown. Also, the textile is just not up to par with the price of the product. It wrinkles too easily. The dress falls right at my knee and the skirt is simply one thin cotton blend. Opening this package and trying on the dress was very underwhelming.

The armholes are large and come forward, showing my bra at the side. The dress is not lined, but has very narrow facings. I was hoping this would be a true wrap, which would be convenient for breastfeeding, but it's not. It's more of a v neck dress with two super long sashes that wrap around twice. I had noticed some of the j crew dresses had pockets, and in the picture the model's arm is hidden behind her side, so I glanced at that and assumed there were pockets. This dress has no pockets. All in all, it is a cute dress still for the price I paid, which was a sale plus 60% off, but it wouldn't have been worth anymore than that. The price on the tag was laughable. By the way the pink looks very flamingo.

I love the feel and fit of this dress! Nice quality fabric. It is true to size.
