Bow-tie tweed dress

It’s nice. It just runs large. I ordered size 2; I should have ordered size 0.

I love this dress. I ordered a petite size. The length is perfect! The fit is also perfect and true to size with one exception. The shoulders are a little Too wide. I’ll have to get it It Tailored slightly. No big!

Looks super cute and hugs curves. A tad tight at the waist where the band is but otherwise perfect!

Holy smokes, if people knew how good this dress is it would have been sold out long ago. I own several high end tweed dresses and this is on par or even better than those. I am shocked this is at J Crew factory. I’m 5’7 with a somewhat wide back and larger upper arms. I typically wear between a 6 and and I went with the 8 to ensure it wouldn’t be tight on my arms. After trying it on I realize I could have gone either way on sizing however I do like the feel of the 8. I may just have the waist taken in a small amount (yes it’s a good enough quality to take to a tailor with confidence.) The dress is just heavy enough and lays perfectly over the body and just a ever so slightly above my knee. The amount of fabric in the skirt portion of the dress is just perfect- not too tight, not too full. The dress is also fully lined. J Crew, please make more colors. Everyone needs this dress.
