Black denim jacket

Looks sharp when worn with dresses or even with a casual outfit.

This looked cute and more tailored in the picture. Unfortunately, it's super stiff, runs smaller (I got a medium and it fits like a small) and it feels like it was returned after it was run through the machine and dryer one time and then sent to me. Sad that I can't return this one as I got it on clearance. J.Crew Mercantile is poorer quality and not true to size?? Seems like it. Though I still love you, J.Crew....though this was a FAIL. :(

Quality is not good,very stiff and doesn’t fit right.

I bought this as an alternative to my blue denim jacket I have from JCrew that gets tons of wear. The metal buttons are quite noticeable and I am not sure I love them. The rest seems fine. I haven't had the chance to wear it yet.

I ordered this online. I am pretty petite (5'2", 100lbs) and while the XS technically fits, it is very short (hits at the top of my waist) and the proportions in general seem off -- like, the flap pockets seem to be situated too high (even on my flat chest) and smaller than regular pockets, as if they were on a child's jacket. The shoulders felt a bit tight (and my shoulders are narrow), and I wouldn't want the sleeves to be any shorter or narrower (and I have relatively short, thin arms). I don't think sizing up would help since I assume the look is meant to be short and boxy -- I just didn't get this as much from the photos as I did from the jacket in person. My jacket is going back; I just wanted to warn everyone since I have no idea how a person of average height and weight would be able to wear this!

This jacket looks awesome. Feels great and wears great. Just wanted I was looking for!! Bought it in black and blue.
