Metallic cable sweater

I bought this on clearance as I already had the metallic tan sweater and liked the way it fit. It is very cute and it can be dressed up or down

The photo does not do this sweater justice at all - it is beautiful! It's not "tacky" at all, as some other reviewers wrote. It has just enough sparkle to be festive, and it is just really striking. I love it! It is itchy, but who wears a heavy sweater like this without a turtleneck or shirt under it? Personally, I love the shorter length sweaters because I am short and do not care for long, shapeless sweaters. It's darling!

I saw this sweater online and knew I had to order for the holidays. It just arrived yesterday evening and I am completely heartbroken because I had big plans for this sweater. As soon as I tried it on, I knew I wanted a divorce from it. If you are planning on wearing this sweater, be sure to put a shirt under it. The material is very scratchy. The color is much darker and muted with gaudy glittery thread. It's not what I was expecting at all. Personally, this piece is not a winner or keeper in my book. However, I do own some amazing pieces from the factory store...this is just not one of them.

It might look like a normal, attractive sweater online, but wow is this ugly in person. More tacky gold glitter than actual sweater, I opened the box and in a heartbeat knew I'd have to return it. I tried it on for the purpose of writing a useful review and it's the scratchiest piece of clothing I've ever owned - probably because of the excessive glitter. Cannot discourage it enough but don'd be discouraged completely, I own sweaters from here that I love, now I just know to be a bit more cautious

This metallic sweater pops way more in person in the gold than it does online. I grabbed my normal size small and the fit was a touch snug in the arms. I think this was likely due to the metallic thread used so there's not as much "give" as there would be normally. Unfortunately though, this was very itchy. I thought it might be but figured I would layer. However, this is also a bit too short (and I'm only 5'3" and short waisted). This hits just past the top of my waistband. Overall, decided to pass. Cute but not for me.
